Clients can access trading opportunities across eight asset classes on the MT4 and MT5 terminals, or invest via the broker’s proprietary copy trading platform. Trading Platforms

Ingot two both MetaTrader terminals (MT4 and MT5). Both platforms are available for free download to desktop devices or can be used via major web browsers.

The multi-asset platforms offer advanced trading features to monitor and execute trades daily. Both terminals are suitable for beginners, though MT5 offers more sophisticated features.

The MT4 terminal provides interactive and custom charts, 30 built-in technical indicators, and nine timeframes. The platform also offers four pending order types and three order execution modes.

How To Place A Trade

The process of placing a trade on Ingot’s MT4 and MT5 platforms is similar:

  1. Log in to your client dashboard and open MT4 or MT5 web trader. Alternatively, download the platform to a desktop device
  2. Search for an asset using the drop-down menu (right-hand side) or search bar
  3. Select ‘new order’ or initiate a trade directly from the chart
  4. Select the order type from the dropdown list e.g. pending order or market execution
  5. Enter the position size expressed in standard lots
  6. Decide whether you want to ‘buy’ or ‘sell’
  7. Confirm the order

Leverage Review

Ingot Brokers offers leverage up to 1:500.

However, some jurisdictions offer limited leverage due to regulatory restrictions. Retail investors trading under the ASIC-regulated entity, for example, will be subject to a maximum rate of 1:30, introduced in 2021.

Mobile App

Both MetaTrader platforms are available for free download to portable devices including iPhone, iPad, and Android (APK).

The apps integrate seamlessly between desktop and mobile so you can access your full trading history, account management details, and market analysis while on the go. Open and close positions with the click of a button from customizable charts designed with smaller screens in mind. The applications also allow retail traders to create custom watchlists, access historical pricing charts, and set real-time alerts.

Ingot Payment Methods

Deposits

Ingot accepts various payment methods including bank wire transfers, credit/debit cards, cryptocurrencies, and e-wallets.

The broker does not charge deposit fees, however third-party charges apply for some methods.

All funds are deposited into an e-wallet which acts as the intermediary between the MetaTrader terminal and your chosen payment method.

How To Deposit Funds Via Bank Wire Transfer

  1. Log in to the Ingot client portal
  2. Select ‘Funds Management’ via the menu on the left-hand side
  3. Click on ‘Deposit Funds’ then ‘Wire Transfer’
  4. Complete the relevant details in the deposit window
  5. You can review and monitor the transfer status in the ‘Account Transactions’ window

Withdrawals

To comply with AML regulations, retail traders must request withdrawals back to the same method as used for deposits and in the same currency. Additionally, you will need to verify your profile before you can request a withdrawal.

A minimum withdrawal of $500 applies for bank wire transfers. Cryptocurrencies have a $25 minimum and Skrill/Neteller has a $10 minimum.

Similar to deposits, there are third-party charges for some withdrawal methods including a 1% charge for Bitcoin and Ethereum.

It can take up to five working days for funds to be received via bank wire transfer. Allow two working days for cryptocurrency and e-wallet fund removals.

How To Withdraw Funds From Ingot Brokers

  1. Log in to the client portal
  2. Click on ‘Funds Management’ in the menu on the left-hand side
  3. Select ‘Withdraw Funds’
  4. Complete the withdrawal details including the payment method and value
  5. Select ‘Request’
  6. The withdrawal will be processed once verified by the Ingot team

Demo Account

Ingot offers demo accounts on the MT4 and MT5 terminals.

There is a 30-day expiry time for MetaTrader 4 practice accounts and a 14-day expiry for MetaTrader 5 accounts. Having said this, the broker allows retail investors to open an unlimited number of practice accounts under the same email address.

How To Open An Account
