Hi everyone,

I’m currently working on a trading simulator that allows users to practice their trading strategies in real-time without the risk of losing money. It’s still a work in progress, and I’d love to get some feedback from this community.

If anyone is interested in taking a look and sharing their thoughts on features, usability, or anything else, it would be much appreciated. The goal is to make this simulator as useful as possible for traders looking to improve their skills.

You can check it out here: Simul8or.

Thanks in advance for any feedback you can provide!

          Is this it – https://simul8or.com/?

I cannot give you proper feedback because it isn’t working for me. I’m just staring at a black screen. I pressed restart but I just get some bells ringing and nothing changes on the screen…

yes, that’s the correct url.  I do see that the date format looks off for the day you’re trying to simulate.

Try entering in the format of

              YYYY/MM/DD

Alternatively you can click any of the quick trade buttons below the chart.

That’s fixed it. I’m still playing around but it’s nice and intuitive with good loading times and easy to use settings.

The chart pattern challenge is a neat and dare I say ‘fun’ addition for newer traders.

I have removed the Sound/Visuals because they feel a bit gimmicky.

Thanks for the feedback!  Perhaps I should add the toggle for the sounds/visuals more front and center as maybe this turns others off as well.

I would but some traders might want a more “gamified” vibe.

Are you going to expand the range of tickers? Most look like they’re from the US apart from a handful from Canada, Japan, Brazil, Australia and the UK.

we currenlty support all us stocks and the data feed also has crypto, forex and major indices.  The listing of stocks below the chart are just quick links.  At the top of the page you can enter any ticker you wish.

I’m already working on an update which will greatly expand the charting capabilities as well as the price-action realism.  I’m going to use the 1-second data rather then the 1 minute.

I see. That makes more sense, cheers.

Do drop a message on here when you’ve expanded the charting capabilities and turned to 1-second data. I’d be happy to test it out again.
