Prop trading, prop trading, prop trading, it’s all I see everywhere I look. But is there anyone here that’s actually tried it? Started digging into it but loads of these platforms want you to pay a joining/trial fee. Call me cynical (😂) but is this just another trading scam?

I would go carefully here. I’m being hit with loads of ads about them too and remain HIGHLY dubious. Do you really need the cash or can you build up gradually?

Yeah man I think the same as you. I mean I have been building up gradually but it’s taking longgggggg. A cash injection could go a long way.

Guys I think you’re right to do some homework but I’m not convinced all prop trading firms are dodgy?

CTI been in the business for ages and I’ve heard of people that have made coin through them.

Like most investments you can’t expect something for nothing. I don’t think a couple hundred dollars is that much?

                    Yup, that’s them.

You have to create an account then you can log in to the dashboard and see the pricing plans (annoying I know). It’s actually less than $200 if you go for their 2.5k funding option, it’s $39 but obviously that won’t get you far. You’re looking at more like $180 for 25k. These are both the two step programs, the one step tests are pricier.

Not saying other people on here are wrong about there being dodgy ones but I think CTI is legit. Just my opinion but there you go.

I don’t believe prop firms are inherently scams. However, like any financial venture, their legitimacy and reputation can vary widely.

Having said that, I don’t think any trader should go near a prop firm unless they have a few years of profitable trading experience.

Otherwise, your monthly fees are just paying for the profits of a few successful traders.
