Nvidia’s GTC 2025 is officially underway, and all eyes are on CEO Jensen Huang’s keynote, where he’s expected to unveil the Blackwell Ultra AI chip—a significant upgrade over last year’s Blackwell model.

The event also promises a sneak peek at the next-gen Rubin GPUs and Vera CPUs, which are set to redefine Nvidia’s AI processor lineup.

Beyond hardware, the conference will dive into AI, robotics, and quantum computing, with Huang leading discussions on Nvidia’s evolving technology roadmap and software advancements.

This comes at a critical time for Nvidia, as the stock has faced recent pressure amid broader market volatility.

For short-term traders, the event could be a catalyst for an AI rally, especially if the announcements exceed expectations.

However, with the market still grappling with economic uncertainty, the real question is whether the buzz around GTC can translate into sustained momentum.

What’s your take—do you think Nvidia’s announcements will spark a rally, or will the market remain cautious? 🤔📈

Nvidia’s stock fell by around 3.4% on Tuesday during and after the keynote address. It didn’t quite have the desired effect! Although to be fair, the decline in Nvidia’s share price is part of a broader market sell-off, particularly affecting large-cap tech stocks and the Mag 7.

You’re right Steve, I think Nvidia’s dip during and after the GTC keynote reflected broader market pressures rather than just the event itself.

The Magnificent Seven and large-cap tech stocks have been under pressure due to economic uncertainty, tariff concerns, and a shift toward defensive sectors.

While the keynote didn’t spark the rally some hoped for, Nvidia’s innovation pipeline—including Blackwell Ultra and Vera Rubin chips—remains a strong long-term driver.

The stock’s recent volatility could present entry opportunities for those bullish on AI and high-performance computing.
