I’m sorry but I’ve been appalled to see so many influencers promoting day trading as what, nothing more than a get rich quick scheme. Where are the regulators? Why aren’t they cracking down on these people all over TikTok and Instagram?

TikTok is the worst for it I swear. It’s full of young kids who are going to go into it for all the wrong reasons if something isn’t done!

      Let’s mobilise?!

Sadly this is something I’ve seen and it worries me too. Not for us but for our children. TikTok was supposed to be about dancing so why can I see my daughter being promoted misleading investment products? Nobody in them is talking about the risks or sharing a balanced view.

I hate it but don’t know what can be done? I’;m open to ideas!

It’s got to be a social media campaign hasn’t it?! It’s the only thing these guys will listen to or understand.

I stumble upon a YouTube video about how this guy makes $10,000 day trading stocks. The influencer boasts about their trading success, promising viewerss “financial freedom and luxury”.

But what are they missing out? Hmmmm… they fail to mention the risks and exploit vulnerable new traders. Shocking.

I’ve not seen it on YouTube but I can imagine it’s just as bad. You can barely go online and escape unrealistic images of it these days.

Please don’t get me started 😡

Forex indicators & signal services are all I see on my social feeds!

And if I see Greg Secker’s face once more on a YouTube ad….

If only I had a pound for every time I’d seen a Greg Secker advert!

On a serious note, it is concerning to see videos and messages going viral that do not accurately articulate the risks of online trading and tougher measures to tackle this would be a great step in the right direction.

Greg Secker is everywhere. Lord knows how much he is spending on YouTube ads 😂
