Yo, anyone ever struggle with exiting a trade too early cuz ur PnL flashes green and u panic-lock profits… only to watch it moon right after?? Like I got my entry dialed in but my exits are straight trash. Any tips for fixing that itchy trigger finger? Do u use hard TPs, trailing stops, or just vibes?? lmk lol

Haha, classic case of “profit panic”! 🚀 Happens to the best of us. That green PnL hits, and suddenly you’re like, “Take the money and run!” only to watch the trade skyrocket right after.

One trick that’s helped me is setting a minimum profit target based on the setup’s risk-reward ratio.

For example, if I’m risking $100, I’ll aim for at least $200 before even thinking about exiting. That way, I’m not bailing at the first sign of green.

Trailing stops can also be a lifesaver—they let you lock in profits while giving the trade room to breathe. And honestly, sometimes it’s worth letting a portion of the trade run with no hard exit.

Dude, this is me to a T. I treat my trades like a hot potato, get a little green and chucks em lol. But I like the idea of scaling out. Maybe if I leave half to run, I’ll stop feeling like I just fumbled a huge play every other day.

Honestly I stopped looking at my PnL while in a trade. I only check price action and my levels. PnL messes with your head.
