I’ve seen a mix of stuff about the brokerage EverFX, does anyone know what actually happened and what they did?

I have been trading for years and the EverFX story is up there with one of the worst I’ve seen in that time.

They basically preyed on people who didn’t know better with loads of dodgy tactics like ringing people up every day and pestering them. They would say how much they know about the markets and convince people with money they should invest in companies based outside of known regulatory jurisdictions. It’s really disgusting behavior taking advantage of people like that.

EverFX have been suspected of numerous questionable trading practices:

• Using deceptive, high-pressure tactics like cold calling to lure in traders promising high returns with limited risk.
• Not being regulated by the financial bodies they claimed to be and directing traders to weakly regulated entities.
• Not honouring legitimate withdrawal requests from clients.

A number of financial bodies have taken action against EverFX, including the FCA.

We do not recommend trading with any brand claiming to be associated with EverFX.

Aston if you Google them you will find so much about some of the dodgy things EverFX apparently did.

EverFX have been part of one of the most high profile scams in the trading world in years.

I thought the industry was heading in the right direction but people likes this really set us back and it all emphasizes the need to prioritize using a big, regulated firm.

Are EverFX still knocking about then? I thought it was game over when the news broke about them being part of a scamming network.
