These spreads and trading fees are killing my profits. I make a few successful day trades only to have my gains eaten up by transaction charges. Is there any broker that is actually affordable for active traders?

I have used IC Markets and TopFX for years and can recommend both.

Both have some of the lowest spreads and commissions for day trading. Execution times and liquidity have never been an issue for me, either.

I would look at Fusion Markets. They have really low spreads with decent commissions of $2.25 per side.
