I recommend IC Markets and TopFX. I have used them both for over four years without any issues (trading, depositing, withdrawing, etc.).

Both have excellent support and both support my favourite trading platform – cTrader.

However, it’s worth noting that the minimum lot size for indices at IC Markets is 1 lot.

With TopFX, it’s 0.01 lots, so you can trade with a much smaller account ($100 or less).

I’ve never used TopFX but I’ve had a good experience with IC Markets. If you want ECN execution with tight spreads they’re a stellar pick. It’s just the market research and insights I find lacking.

Defo helpful to get a couple of personal recommendations, thanks boys. The min lot size isn’t a problem for me and I’ve set up a demo account with IC to give em a test run.

I like Blackbull for trading indices. They’ve got an excellent selection of European indices that I’m interested in (Cac, Dax, Ibex etc) and they are much better for day trading than other platforms I’ve come across, mostly because of their low costs and execution quality.

                  Hi Blaze Sq,

Have you looked at DayTrading.com’s pick of the best brokers for day trading indices?

I am looking at IC Markets beginning with but if that don’t work out I’ll consider your list.

                        No problem at all.

Best of luck with IC Markets.

A solid choice, but just be careful about managing risk with IC’s minimal lot size.

On another note, if you decide to swing trade indices rather than day trade them, eToro lets you trade ETFs (SPY, QQQ, etc.) with very little capital and no overnight fees (unless you use leverage).

Cheers man, I’ll keep eToro in mind.
