CloseOption Runs Weekly Trading Contest With $1K Prize Pot
European binary options broker, CloseOption, is running a weekly trading competition on its web-based platform. Participants are given $10,000 in virtual funds and the traders that accumulate the highest balance at the end of the contest are awarded cash prizes.
How It Works
The weekly trading tournament typically starts each Monday at 08:00. There is a $5 – $10 entry fee though CloseOption sometimes waives this.
Participants are given a contest account with a $10,000 virtual bankroll. If your balance falls below $1,000 you can select a recharge package in the trading room. Traders that reach a balance of $20,000 are also offered the chance to double their balance through an accelerator coin.
The winners are the traders with the highest balance at the end of the competition. A live leaderboard is maintained throughout the week on the ‘Contest’ page so you can see how you rank against other participants.
The top 20 traders will receive cash prizes:
Contest Winners | Bonus Credit |
---|---|
1st | $300 |
2nd | $200 |
3rd | $100 |
4th | $75 |
5th | $50 |
6th – 20th | $30 – $10 |
The results are published within 48 hours of the tournament finishing and bonus funds are automatically credited to client accounts. Winners can either withdraw the promotional funds or use them to trade on the broker’s 25+ binary options assets.
Contest Rules
Signing up for multiple accounts to take part in the weekly trading contest is not permitted.
To create a competitive environment and encourage participation, each week’s winner cannot take part in the following two rounds while second place cannot take part in the next round. The exception to this is VIP traders who will be removed from the next round but will receive a waiting period reward ($10 each day up to $100).
The contest balance and any profits will be removed from the trader’s account when the competition ends.
