IUX Review 2025

Pros
- Trade a growing suite of 120+ CFDs, including the addition of thematic indices, providing opportunities on up-and-coming sectors and technologies like AI and electric vehicles.
- IUX provides reliable support via live chat, email and telephone assistance based in Cyprus, with email response times of under 24 hours from our latest queries.
- IUX offers all the ingredients for serious day traders with fast execution speeds of 30ms, exceptionally high leverage up to 1:3000, and raw spreads from 0.0 pips.
Cons
- The IUX Web Trade platform, built on TradingView, can be slow from our tests and lacks automated trading support, potentially making it less efficient for active traders.
- IUX lacks in-depth market analysis, premium research reports, and expert trading insights, features offered by top brokers such as IG, which detracts from the service for beginners.
- While its reputation is growing, IUX does not hold licenses from ‘green-tier’ regulators in DayTrading.com’s Regulation & Trust Rating, which could concern traders seeking stronger investor protections.
IUX Review
Regulation & Trust
2.8 / 5IUX is somewhat trusted. It’s been around since 2016, but it’s regulated by one ‘yellow tier’ and three ‘red tier’ authorities according to DayTrading.com’s Regulation & Trust Rating:
- Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) of South Africa: IUX Markets ZA (PTY) Ltd is authorized with FSP No 53103. ‘Yellow tier’.
- Financial Services Authority (FSA) of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines: IUX Markets Limited is incorporated under registered number 26183 BC 2021. ‘Red tier’.
- Financial Services Commission (FSC) of Mauritius: IUX MARKETS (MU) LTD holds license number GB22200605 as an Investment Dealer (Full Service Dealer, Excluding Underwriting). ‘Red tier’.
- The Financial Commission: IUX became a member of this independent external dispute resolution organization in 2024, which offers additional protection to traders, notably up to €20,000 for complaints. ‘Red tier’.
While multiple authorities technically regulate the broker, it lacks oversight from ‘green-tier’ regulators like the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), or the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC).
These regulators impose stricter financial and consumer protection standards, offering greater security. Without this level of regulation, there’s a higher risk of disputes or financial instability.
However, it’s good to know that IUX keeps funds separate from its own by storing them in segregated accounts, reducing the risk of accounting mishaps.
Additionally, negative balance protection ensures that any trading losses are limited to the funds available in your account, preventing you from owing more than you’ve deposited.

Accounts & Banking
2.8 / 5Live Accounts
IUX offers four distinct trading account types, each tailored to meet various trading preferences and experience levels:
Standard
- Minimum Deposit: $10
- Spread: Starting from 0.2 pips
- Commission: None
- Maximum Leverage: Up to 1:3000
- Additional Features: No swap fees
Standard+
- Minimum Deposit: $10
- Spread: Starting from 0.5 pips
- Commission: None
- Maximum Leverage: Up to 1:1000
- Additional Features: Deposit bonus up to 35%
Raw
- Minimum Deposit: $500
- Spread: Starting from 0.0 pips
- Commission: $6 per lot
- Maximum Leverage: Up to 1:3000
- Additional Features: No swap fees
Pro
- Minimum Deposit: $500
- Spread: Starting from 0.1 pips
- Commission: None
- Maximum Leverage: Up to 1:3000
All account types support micro-lot trading (0.01 lots) and are compatible with the MetaTrader platform.
Where they really stand out though is their high leverage. With rates up to 1:3000 in all accounts but Standard+, the opportunity to multiply trading results (profit and loss) is huge.
Additionally, Muslims can request an Islamic swap-free version for all account types.
Adding features like priority withdrawals, advanced analytics tools, or more exclusive perks for high-volume traders could make IUX stand out even more.
Demo Accounts
IUX offers demo accounts, which are great for testing short-term trading strategies and familiarizing yourself with the platforms without risking real money.
When I first tried the demo, I found it helpful for exploring different trading conditions with MetaTrader 5.
Still, some brokers we’ve evaluated, such as FP Markets and XM provide more flexibility, like more extended demo periods (accounts inactive for more than 90 days get closed).
IUX’s demo gives access to the same trading environment as live accounts, which is a plus. Still, I would like more customization options, such as resetting balances. The option to open more than six active demo accounts would also be good.
Deposits & Withdrawals
IUX’s deposit and withdrawal options are fairly flexible. It offers methods like bank wire transfer, credit card, debit card, e-wallets such as Skrill and Neteller, and even crypto like Bitcoin payments and Ethereum payments.
However, the only available base currency is USD, so you must consider currency conversions affecting your balance.
Deposits are usually instant, which is convenient. Still, withdrawals can take a bit longer, depending on the method. For example, I had a bank transfer that took about two business days, while an e-wallet withdrawal was processed within a few hours.
When withdrawing, funds are converted to your local currency based on current exchange rates.
It’s great that IUX doesn’t charge handling fees for deposits or withdrawals, but some methods may have third-party fees, which is something to watch out for.
The processing speed is decent compared to other brokers we’ve tested, but more crypto funding options, including USDT, would be welcome.

Assets & Markets
2.8 / 5IUX provides a modest library of 120+ CFDs (despite advertising 250+) across major markets, including forex, commodities, stocks, indices, and cryptocurrencies. CFDs are geared towards short-term traders.
After spending time using the platform, here’s a breakdown of the assets on offer:
- Forex: 34+ currency pairs, including majors and minors (no exotics), let you engage with various global economies and capitalize on currency fluctuations with popular pairs like EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and USD/JPY.
- Cryptocurrencies: 16+ cryptocurrencies, including popular options like Bitcoin and Ethereum, let you speculate in the dynamic and rapidly evolving crypto market.
- Indices: 11+ major global indices, such as the S&P 500 and FTSE 100, let you speculate on the performance of broader stock markets.
- Stocks: 55+ leading US stocks let you bet on the movements of major corporations like Apple and Meta, without owning the actual asset.
- Thematic Indices: 6+ indices with assets grouped by trends, sectors, or technologies shaping the future, like AI, EVs or crypto have been added to the line-up.
- Commodities: 6+ commodities including precious metals like gold and silver, as well as key energy commodities such as oil.
Expanding the forex and stock offerings further to include exotic currencies and more mid-cap and emerging market stocks would give access to a broader range of trading opportunities.
Saxo, for example, offers over 8,800+ CFDs on stocks, ETFs, indices, commodities, and bonds. CMC Markets also offers access to over 175+ forex pairs, giving greater trading choice.
IUX would also benefit from updating its marketing materials. At the time of our latest tests, the number of instruments it claimed to support on its website proved to be different to those available for trading after we opened an account and started using the platform.

Fees & Costs
3.8 / 5Trading costs are another area where IUX stands out. With spreads starting from as low as 0.0 pips, depending on the account type, trading expenses are minimal – ideal for active traders.
The Raw account offers raw spreads with a competitive commission of $6.00 per round lot, making it a great option for day trading.
Additionally, all accounts require a minimum deposit of $10, making them accessible for beginners. By comparison, Eightcap has a minimum deposit of $100.
Remember that IUX, like most brokers I’ve traded with, charges overnight funding fees on some instruments for non-Islamic accounts. Consider these costs if making swing trades.

Platforms & Tools
3.8 / 5IUX offers four trading platforms, each available on desktop and mobile devices.
- IUX Web Trade: Built on TradingView, this proprietary browser-based platform offers a smooth experience without downloading. What I really like about it is its advanced charting tools and clutter-free design, especially when working from different computers. The only downside is that it can be sluggish based on my hands-on tests and it doesn’t support automated trading.
- IUX App Trader: Based on the Web Trade platform, this proprietary mobile app is also user-friendly and efficient for on-the-go trading. I’ve found the customizable interface and fast execution handy during volatile market conditions. While it doesn’t have all the advanced features of desktop platforms, it’s more than capable of quick trades and monitoring positions.
- MetaTrader 5 (MT5): For more advanced technical analysis and trading strategies, the downloadable (requires installation) MT5 is my preferred choice. With over 80 technical indicators, an economic calendar to inform of financial events, and a Depth of Market (DOM) view for deeper insights into market dynamics, MT5 is the more robust platform. It also easily supports complex algorithms.
- MetaTrader 5 WebTerminal: This browser-based version of MT5 allows you to trade without downloads or installations. It offers real-time market access, advanced charting tools, and complete order management, making it a convenient option when you’re away from your primary device.

IUX could improve by expanding its options beyond MT5. For example, IC Markets provides access to MT4 and MT5, as well as cTrader and TradingView.
cTrader and TradingView are very popular thanks to their modern interfaces and advanced order execution. Adding these alternative platforms would provide more flexibility and cater to different active trading styles, making IUX more competitive with industry leaders.

Research
2.5 / 5IUX offers a few essential research tools designed to enhance the trading experience:
- Economic Calendar: Provides real-time updates on major economic events and their potential impact on financial markets, helping you stay informed about key developments.
- Trading Calculators: You can simulate various CFD trades by adjusting parameters like pips, margins, and profits, allowing you to assess potential outcomes before executing trades.
- Currency Converter: This enables you to quickly convert between different currencies, assisting in evaluating international investments.
- Screeners: TradingView-powered screeners let you filter stocks, currencies, and cryptos based on technical criteria.

IUX’s research tools are helpful but could be more advanced like those at category leaders, such as Interactive Brokers.
Many top brokers we’ve evaluated offer in-house economic analysis, trading insights, and integrated third-party research from providers like Trading Central and Autochartist.
Additionally, some brokers provide highly customizable economic calendars with filters for specific markets.

Education
2 / 5IUX offers a few basic educational resources to support new traders:
- Articles: Cover various topics, from basic trading concepts to advanced strategies to market trends like fintech and blockchain.
- Academy: Three short courses catering to inexperienced traders, including “Basic Knowledge to Trade” and “Basic Knowledge to Invest.”

Expanding the library with more advanced content would benefit experienced traders looking for deeper insights.
Additionally, keeping all educational materials regularly updated to reflect the latest market trends would ensure that traders have access to the most relevant information.
To remain competitive with brokers that excel in this area, such as FOREX.com, IUX should also consider adding a comprehensive glossary to clarify trading terminology and publishing regular expert-led live webinars to provide insights into current market conditions and trading strategies, allowing for interactive learning experiences.

Customer Support
3.3 / 5IUX provides 24/7 customer support, which is convenient when you need quick assistance. You can reach agents through multiple channels:
- Live Chat: Available directly on the website, but not on the trading platform, making it easy to get real-time help when you have urgent questions.
- Email: You can send inquiries and usually receive a response within 24 hours, according to our direct tests of its customer service.
- Phone Support: IUX provides Cyprus-based phone assistance, excellent for quickly resolving more complex issues.
- Social Media: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X channels offer another way to get in touch.
Having multiple support options is helpful, but expanding the ‘Help Center’ with more educational resources would be a big improvement – especially for beginners looking to build their trading knowledge.
Also, while phone support is available, ensuring shorter wait times and broader language support would enhance the overall experience.

Should You Day Trade With IUX?
Whether you should day trade with IUX depends on your priorities.
It provides institutional-grade trading with deep liquidity ($1.5B+ CFD trades daily), fast order execution (averaging under 30ms), and low-latency infrastructure (Equinix LD4 server), making it ideal for day traders seeking seamless, high-speed transactions.
Its leverage up to 1:3000, while high-risk, also remains among the most we’ve seen, turbocharging trading results.
However, IUX lacks ‘green-tier’ regulation, which may concern traders who prioritize strong investor protection. Additionally, educational resources and platform variety are limited compared to some competitors we’ve assessed.
If you’re comfortable with the regulatory trade-offs and have a solid understanding of day trading, IUX can be a viable option. Otherwise, more established brokers with stronger oversight might be worth considering.
FAQ
Is IUX Legit Or A Scam?
IUX is a legitimate broker, offering a range of trading instruments, MT5 support, and transparent fees.
However, it lacks ‘green-tier’ regulation, which raises concerns about investor protection compared to brokers regulated by top financial authorities like the FCA or ASIC.
The absence of strong regulatory oversight means caution is advised – especially for those prioritizing security and fund protection.
Is IUX Suitable For Beginners?
IUX can be a good choice for beginners, thanks to its low $10 minimum deposit, its simplified proprietary trading platform, and access to a demo account for practice.
The broker also offers competitive spreads from 0.0 pips and a simple registration process that we’ve been through during testing.
However, the lack of comprehensive research and educational resources and limited regulatory oversight may be a drawback compared to more established brokers that provide stronger investor protection and in-depth learning materials.
