Fxview Obtains FSCA License In South Africa
Part of the Finvasia Group, Fxview has secured a license from the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) in South Africa. The regulatory approval will help the forex and CFD broker to expand its operations in the country and the wider African continent.
Regulatory Coverage
Fxview is authorised by the FSCA under registration number 2018/303451/07, license number 50410.
The market conduct regulator oversees financial institutions in the country, ensuring brokers treat customers fairly, amongst other responsibilities. The FSCA has the power to issue fines and exclude brokerages from operating in the region if they do not comply with local rules and regulations.
The latest license shows the broker’s intent to expand its presence in South Africa and neighbouring countries. This is a strategic move with South Africa experiencing a growing demand for online trading and investing services.
MD Financial Intermediation at Finvasia Group, Janis Anastassiou, commented: “Entering South Africa and the African continent has been on our horizon for some time. As we aim to strengthen our position in the region, the FSCA licence offers Fxview opportunities not only in expanding our presence but the opportunity to reach a broader client base and offer them access to an award-winning broker.”
