Royston Wild

Royston is an experienced private investor and has been an investment writer for more than 10 years.
As well as writing about which stocks to buy (and which to avoid), he covers other financial markets including commodities and forex and reports broader macroeconomic news.
Royston was formerly a stocks and commodities reporter, and editor of print and online forex coverage at Shares Magazine. He was also a base and precious metals market correspondent at Fastmarkets.
Royston has a degree in Journalism from Middlesex University, London & Harlow College.
Outside of work, Royston enjoys attending the gym, playing golf, and hiking around the UK. He’s also been known to relax on the sofa with the Xbox or a good film.
In his personal portfolio, Royston is invested in UK and US-listed shares and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). He has significant holdings in several FTSE 100 stocks including Legal & General, Games Workshop, HSBC and Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (HBC). His ETF holdings meanwhile provide him with exposure to a multitude of indices, sectors and themes – these include the S&P 500, gold miners, cybersecurity, defence and European equities.
