The DayTrading.com Community is a place to discuss and learn about short-term trading. There are several dos and don’ts that we politely ask all users to follow:
Do
- Respect other users: We want you to actively contribute to our discussions, but please do so in a way that respects the different viewpoints of other users. Always be polite, especially if you disagree. This should be a safe, productive space to discuss all things trading.
- Report problems: We want to make this an active trading community where people can ask questions and discuss ideas. If you encounter anything that prevents you from doing that, or have recommendations about how we could improve, please let us know using the ‘Suggestions’ forum.
- Keep it organized: Our community discussions are broken down into various, evolving forums. Please post any questions or thoughts you have in the most relevant area. You can also use the search bar to browse existing topics.
- Provide details or evidence: Support your entries with personal trading experiences or credible sources. This helps prevent the spread of misinformation and will strengthen your points.
- Share your experiences: We want to hear from you, and so do the many thousands of traders who use DayTrading.com each week. Don’t be shy – your insights could help someone more than you think!
Don’t
- Post unrelated or harmful content: Don’t post anything unrelated to trading, argumentative, or hateful. We reserve the right to edit and/or reject any submission and, if needed, prevent users from posting in the future. Personal attacks, harassment, or any form of bullying will not be tolerated.
- Spam or market products: Don’t spam our forums or use them to market products. If you have a legitimate trading product or service that you would like to be independently reviewed on our website, contact us.
- Post others’ content without permission: Don’t submit any intellectual property, whether that’s text, images, or another medium, that belongs to someone else without their permission.
- Don’t use misleading or clickbait titles: Don’t enter misleading, clickbait-style titles and content. This reduces the quality of discussions and our moderators may have to edit it before allowing it to feature on the website, or decide not to publish it at all.
- Derail discussions: Don’t derail topics by posting or commenting about something completely different. If you can’t find what you’re looking for in an existing discussion, post a new topic in the most related forum. Upon moderation, we may create a new forum if required.
Note
Every submission will be reviewed by our moderators before being published. Our moderators reserve the right to edit and/or delete any entry.
Our website and moderators accept zero responsibility for anything posted in the Community.
Our standard Terms and Conditions apply.
These rules are not exhaustive and are subject to change.
